Come One.. Come All

Come to the school where you can make learning and teaching a real joy.
Teach with passion, Learn with joy.  :)

You'll be surprised how much you can learn, when you come to Pagdandi to teach.

Pagdandi, a program of Swechha (www.swechha.in), was initiated with the conviction and belief that individual and collective volunteering can address visibly, developmental and environmental issues in society. The program is a volunteer driven alternative educational and learning space for the children of Jagdamba Camp since October 2009.

The aim of Pagdandi is to integrate and inspire underprivileged children through :

-          workshops on Life-Skills, Environmental responsibility, Active Citizenship etc.

-          Kitaab Ghar – an interactive library inside Jagdamba Camp

-          Film Screenings, Excursion Trips, Right to Education Wing, Performing Arts programs and Children’s Festivals.

The sessions are facilitated by volunteers from corporate houses like Genpact, Evalueserve, Nokia Siemens Networks, Google, Dell, Rensol Systems; from Colleges - Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi University Colleges, professional artists and students from Delhi schools like Vasant Valley School etc.

Pagdandi is supported by the National Foundation for India and its volunteers.
